Can you believe it’s almost August already! We’re right in the middle of preparing for our church’s annual VBS next week which means that summer really is coming to an end. Once this highlight for the kids is over, the remaining few weeks fly by especially fast. So as we continue to prepare for this big change, today’s stop for our Back-To-School highlight is with The Northwest. As I browsed through their site, I was thrilled to see all that they offered to help kids get ready. From blankets to backpacks, duffle bags and more, they have a great selection of the coolest licensed gear out there and I’m excited to partner with with for this review.

First up, the all important backpack. As I said, The Northwest Backpack line up is huge! From sports teams, college teams, Disney characters, Marvel, and more, every kid is sure to find the perfect bag for them. Three popular styles available include: Captain Backpack, Sling Backpack, and Duffel.

Since we’re from Minnesota and our son is a big baseball fan, the Minnesota Twins backpack was a winner for us. The Nothwest sent us a black one, officially licensed by Major League Baseball. This particular style features on large zippered pocket and one smaller front zip pocket that also features small organizing pockets inside. There are two mesh side pockets, perfect for those water bottles and the straps are slightly padded for a little extra comfort.

Next up, don’t forget to tuck those kids into bed early the night before the first day of school. Make it extra special with the Minnesota Twins MLB “Home Field Advantage” Woven Tapestry Throw. This made in America blanket measures in at 48”x 60” and features decorative fringes around the border.

Cuddling up with a nice throw at the game or in your bed is always nice. This OFFICIAL MLB tapestry is sure to impress friends or fellow game attenders alike and every true fan should have one.
