Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales rep will be responsible for managing a list of B2b customers & potential leads, help manage various accounts at the direction of the VP of Sports Sales and the coordination of the various trade shows that Northwest attends.  This position reports directly to the VP of Sports Sales.  The inside sales team will own all aspects of operating trade shows including working with the sales & brand teams and event coordinator to plan out each show, oversee and execute the set up and breakdown of each show and work with customers and the sales team at each show.

Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Call on and manage a list of accounts provided by the VP of Sports Sales using a combination of phone calls, B2b emails and face to face (when appropriate) meetings to drive customer business.
  • Seek out potential leads for new B2b customers through both their own methods as well as lists/direction provided by the VP of Sports Sales.
  • Provide customer service and support for the accounts they are responsible for.
  • Call on or assist with various Northwest accounts at the direction of the VP of Sports Sales.  This may include travel if deemed appropriate.
  • Work with sales, brand and event planning teams to help plan out logistics & needs for the various trade shows Northwest attends.
  • At trade shows will be responsible for set-up & breakdown of booths.
  • At trade shows will be responsible for meeting with & selling customers that come into the booth as well as assisting the sales & brand teams as needed.
  • Work with B2b admin and VP of Sports Sales to help create & drive various B2b sales campaigns (ie.- Hot market, movie premieres, opportunity buys, etc.)
  •  Other Duties and Responsibilities as Directed

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong writing, mathematical and communication skills required
  • Extremely organized, highly energetic, ability to multi-task
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs; Excel review
  • Ability to speak clearly, effectively and openly both in person and on phone
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction
  • 1-2 Years of Experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel (see existing trade show schedule below)

Customer Service Associate

This position Reports to the Sr Director Customer Service & Operations and will perform Customer Service functions to support the Company meet sales goals. Responsibilities  

  • Communicate to Key Account & sales reps any status changes on orders
  • Maintenance of open order report for the key accounts they are responsible for
  • Acts as a liaison between Key Account Rep, Account, production and logistics to ensure all the appropriate direction is provided for production and logistics to execute orders
  • Work with the key account reps and sales management to develop a strategy to help grow business at assigned accounts.
  • Work with sales, brand and event planning teams to help plan out logistics & needs for the various trade shows Northwest attends.
  • Help Key Account rep prepare for and execute meetings with Key Account
  • Co-owns sales achievement goals with assigned accounts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with counterparts at assigned accounts such as buyers, assistant buyers, analysts, etc
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitors’ products and pricing and keep up to date on knowledge of the company

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience preferred working directly with customers and outside sales representatives
  • Experienced using a B2b platform
  • Willingness to be coached
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Hi-energy, team player, that enjoys talking to customers and outside sales representatives on the phone
  • Well-organized and is strong in follow through
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and key account sales representatives and gains their trust and respect
  • Comfortable working in fast paced environment with limited direction
  • Comfortable with standard Office software suites, especially Microsoft Excel and Teams
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Can adapt when necessary to accommodate changes in industry and company direction

Collegiate Licensing and Sales Associate

The Northwest Group is the leading manufacturer of home textile products in the licensed sports, entertainment, and lifestyle space. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Collegiate Licensing and Sales Associate.

Position Overview

This role will report into the Director of Brand and Licensing. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving sales initiatives within the collegiate market. You will work seamlessly alongside and with the greater Wholesale and DTC Sales Teams to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and accounts. With support from the Director of Brand and Licensing, you will develop strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives. This role will pay particular attention to the campus community and specialty markets. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) will be a key area of responsibility. The Collegiate Licensing and Sales Associate will play a pivotal role in expanding our brand presence and driving incremental revenue throughout the collegiate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Coordination: Work together with existing independent and internal Sales Team individuals to identify opportunities, provide direction and support, and liaise across all relevant stakeholders to ensure success from infancy stage through post-mortem. Set clear expectations and motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales targets/objectives.

2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to penetrate the collegiate market effectively.

3. Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including licensing directors, college administrators, and bookstore/retail managers. Leverage these relationships to increase brand awareness, secure programs, and drive sales.

4. Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to assess team and individual performance. Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

5. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and understanding of the collegiate market.Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the collegiate market landscape. Use market research and insights to identify emerging opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

8. Administrative Support: Work with the Director of Brand and Licensing to develop a deep and complete understanding of licensing program management, inclusive of artwork tracking, royalty reporting, rights management, license requests/renewals, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sports management, or related field.
  • A relevant and proven sales/licensing track record will be equally considered.
  • Knowledge of general licensing principles. Knowledge of, and experience in, brand and/or sports licensing is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects at any given time, prioritizing as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Written and verbal.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
